Shadow Play

Using only Translucent paper and Glue Dots, we were tasked to create a pendant lamp. Playing with form and shadows that are produced with over laps and creases in the paper.

Final Design

The final design consists of two parts, one of 19 individual rectangles and the second of 14 which cocoons the lightbulb with in the lamp. Each piece is glued together at different points creating the bowing effect as well as an overall flow.
